Sinusitis is the inflammation of paranasal sinuses.

Causes:

• common cold
• deviated nasal septum
• Allergies

Symptoms:

• pain tenderness and swelling of affected sinus
• yellowish or greenish discharging of nose
• nasal obstruction, nasal congestion and post nasal drip
• Decreased sense of smell

Treatment :

Internal medication and external medication - nasyam, thalam, dhoomapanam.
